Homemade Cheesy, Pepperoni Pizza Muffins
Cheesy, savory and filled with pepperoni, these homemade pizza muffins, turn pizza flavors into an easy handheld snack - perfect for school lunches.
Bake: 375°F for 15–20 minutes
Ingredients:
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
half a cup parmesan cheese
1 cup pepperoni slices
1 large egg
1 cup milk
¼ cup olive oil
½ cup of pizza sauce + extra for dipping
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F and line or grease a muffin tin.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder and salt.
Stir in the mozzarella cheese and pepperoni until evenly distributed.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk and olive oil.
Pour the wet ingredients, including pizza sauce, into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Let the muffins cool slightly in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack.
Serve warm with additional pizza sauce for dipping.

Allow the muffins to cool completely before freezing.
